  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast (or thighs), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 pound broccoli florets
  • 1/2 medium onion, thickly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or distilled white vinegar for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing olive oil, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, smoked paprika, honey, hoisin sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the chicken in half of the marinade and the broccoli and onion in the other half for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Cook marinated chicken for approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Add marinated vegetables to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 8-11 minutes until everything is cooked through.
