  • 1 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
  • 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional – red pepper flakes (sriracha sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, combine chicken broth, tamari sauce, grated ginger, sesame oil, and garlic salt. Heat on medium-high until boiling; then reduce to low heat.
  2. In a small bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  3. While stirring the broth continuously, slowly drizzle in the beaten eggs to create ribbons.
  4. Add sliced green onions and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
