  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
  • 1 orange pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing and shredding as indicated.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until softened (about 3 minutes). Add garlic and jalapeño; cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in cabbage and orange pepper; cook until tender-crisp (5-7 minutes).
  5. Pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce; mix well.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and combine everything thoroughly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
