  • 450g flank or sirloin steak
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • Olive oil
  • Spices (paprika, cumin, garlic powder)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by rubbing it with olive oil and seasoning it with paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the steak in a hot skillet for 4–5 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking. Let it rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
  3. Cook the rice according to package instructions in a pot with broth or water.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic, then stir in milk and gradually mix in shredded cheese until smooth.
