Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies (about 10-12 cookies)
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 bag (10 oz) vanilla flavored melting wafers
  • Red & green sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Crush sugar cookies using a food processor or by placing them in a Ziploc bag and smashing with a heavy object until fine crumbs form.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese, mixing well with a spoon before using hands for thorough blending.
  4. Roll approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture into balls and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  5. Melt the vanilla melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Using a fork, dip each frozen truffle into the melted wafers, tapping off excess coating before returning to the sheet.
  7. Chill again in the freezer for another 5 minutes to set.
  8. Drizzle remaining melted wafers over truffles and sprinkle with decorations.
