  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over each chicken breast.
  4. Coat the chicken by first dipping in olive oil then pressing into the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from the fryer, add marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
  7. Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
